Specialty Coffee Institutions MOC¶
The specialty coffee movement established a substantial institutional infrastructure — professional associations, certification bodies, competition systems, and media organisations — that formalised quality standards, recognised professional achievement, and built the shared culture of the sector. This MOC collects the key institutions: the SCA and CQI which govern standards and certification, World Coffee Events which administers the global competition system, and the regional associations and media that extend the movement's reach.
