Overview

The Coffee Quality Institute (CQI) is a non-profit organisation founded in 1996 with the mission of improving coffee quality and the lives of those who produce it. It administers the Q Grader and Q Processing Grader certification programmes — globally recognised credentials for professional coffee sensory evaluators — and runs origin-specific quality improvement projects in partnership with producers, governments, and specialty industry stakeholders to raise green coffee quality at farm and processing level.
