Overview¶
The World Cup Tasters Championship tests competitors' ability to identify the odd-one-out cup in a series of triangle tests — three cups are presented, two from the same coffee and one different, and competitors must correctly identify the different cup across eight triangles in the fastest possible time. The format tests precision sensory discrimination under time pressure, highlighting the role of palate training and coffee sensory memory as core professional skills. It is organised by World Coffee Events.
