Overview¶
Barista Magazine is a US-based print and digital trade publication focused on specialty coffee, founded in 2005 by Sarah Allen and featuring editorial coverage of barista culture, competition, roasting, and origin. Published six times per year, it is one of the longest-running dedicated specialty coffee magazines and is distributed internationally through SCA events and subscriptions. Its competition-season coverage and profiles of barista champions have made it a key document of third-wave specialty coffee culture from the mid-2000s onward.
