Honduras MOC

Honduras is Central America's largest coffee producer by volume, growing 100% Arabica across six officially certified growing regions (Indicaciones Geográficas) in its mountainous interior at altitudes of 1,000–1,700 metres. The industry is built on approximately 112,000 smallholder families, regulated by the Instituto Hondureño del Café (IHCAFE), and increasingly recognised by the specialty market through the Cup of Excellence programme and the internationally acclaimed COMSA cooperative. This MOC navigates the country data file and individual region files covering each of Honduras's six certified growing zones.
