Overview¶
Omni-roasting refers to a roast profile designed to perform well across multiple brewing methods — both filter and espresso — rather than being optimised for a single method. The approach became popular in specialty roasteries wanting to simplify their range while still achieving quality results whether the coffee is brewed in a V60 or extracted as an espresso, and reflects the shift away from the traditional model of maintaining separate espresso and filter roast profiles for each coffee.
