Overview¶
Entry-level espresso refers to machines and grinders priced to make espresso preparation accessible to home users and small cafés without the capital investment of professional equipment — typically machines in the AU$300–$1,000 range paired with grinders in the AU$200–$600 range. Machines such as the Breville/Sage Barista Express and Bambino Plus, and grinders such as the Baratza Encore and Eureka Mignon Silenzio, have defined this category by offering sufficient temperature stability, pressure control, and grind consistency to produce specialty-grade espresso at home.
