Espresso Martini¶
A modern classic: smooth, bold, and topped with a silky crema. Perfect as a pick-me-up or after-dinner drink.
Ingredients¶
- 2 oz vodka
- 1 oz freshly brewed espresso (cooled) or cold brew concentrate
- ½ oz coffee liqueur (Kahlúa or Mr Black)
- ½ oz simple syrup
- Ice
- 3 coffee beans (garnish)
Instructions¶
- Add vodka, espresso, coffee liqueur, and simple syrup to a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
- Shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds until the outside is frosty and foam forms.
- Double-strain into a chilled coupe or martini glass.
- Garnish with three coffee beans on top.
Tips¶
- Fresh espresso produces the best crema — let it cool slightly before shaking.
- For a sweeter drink, increase simple syrup to ¾ oz.
