Espresso Martini

A modern classic: smooth, bold, and topped with a silky crema. Perfect as a pick-me-up or after-dinner drink.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz vodka
  • 1 oz freshly brewed espresso (cooled) or cold brew concentrate
  • ½ oz coffee liqueur (Kahlúa or Mr Black)
  • ½ oz simple syrup
  • Ice
  • 3 coffee beans (garnish)

Instructions

  1. Add vodka, espresso, coffee liqueur, and simple syrup to a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
  2. Shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds until the outside is frosty and foam forms.
  3. Double-strain into a chilled coupe or martini glass.
  4. Garnish with three coffee beans on top.

Tips

  • Fresh espresso produces the best crema — let it cool slightly before shaking.
  • For a sweeter drink, increase simple syrup to ¾ oz.
