Amaretto Affogato

A dessert cocktail hybrid — vanilla ice cream "drowned" with espresso and almond-flavored amaretto.


Ingredients

  • 1 scoop vanilla gelato or ice cream
  • 1 shot hot espresso
  • 1 oz amaretto liqueur

Instructions

  1. Place a scoop of gelato or ice cream in a small bowl or coupe glass.
  2. Pour amaretto over the ice cream.
  3. Top with a shot of hot espresso.
  4. Serve immediately with a spoon.
