Amaretto Affogato¶
A dessert cocktail hybrid — vanilla ice cream "drowned" with espresso and almond-flavored amaretto.
Ingredients¶
- 1 scoop vanilla gelato or ice cream
- 1 shot hot espresso
- 1 oz amaretto liqueur
Instructions¶
- Place a scoop of gelato or ice cream in a small bowl or coupe glass.
- Pour amaretto over the ice cream.
- Top with a shot of hot espresso.
- Serve immediately with a spoon.
Tips¶
- Use high-quality gelato for the best texture.
- Try adding a sprinkle of cocoa or crushed biscotti.
