Overview¶
Europe has been a dominant force in the World Barista Championship and World Brewers Cup, with Nordic countries — Norway, Denmark, Sweden, and Finland — winning multiple titles and the UK also producing several champions. National championship systems, many run by SCA-affiliated member organisations, qualify competitors through to the World Coffee Events global finals. The concentration of specialty coffee culture in Northern and Western Europe has made the continent a consistent source of world-class competition talent.
